Welcome!

I’m Rai Khamisa.

A founder, licensed clinician, and consultant building a new path to better executive leadership.

My Story

With over 15 years of experience across nonprofit, public, academic, and healthcare systems, I have found that capacity and happiness go hand in hand.

Leaders across all industries are not taught the necessary skills to succeed sustainably. Instead, they begin to erode from the inside. I’ve seen very successful people fall into this trap. High performers—disconnected from themselves, the work and why it matters. Leaders—missing out on what makes life and work fulfilling.

This disconnection cascades. Psychological safety diminishes on their teams. Retention collapses. ROI is lost. And life outside work suffers.

My work seeks to help leaders build a regulated, meaningful life without sacrificing happiness. Together, we will address the gaps in essential leadership skills, reducing the likelihood of capacity strain and increasing the chances of success.

I want to help our best—be the best.

What I offer

Rooted Success HQ is where clinical depth meets organizational leadership. I help individuals, businesses, and organizations protect the ROI on their senior leaders — by addressing what's actually driving performance decline before it becomes a retention event. To do this, I’ve developed a five-dimension framework that identifies where capacity compression lives. And more importantly, the framework shows us where to realign your work to increase satisfaction, retain employees, and make space for happiness at work.

Rooted Success HQ

“The first move isn't a strategy or a system. It's a pause. A genuine inventory of what you're actually running on right now”. Bi-weekly, I curate a newsletter that addresses the topics that matter: capacity compression, where leadership stumbles, and how we get to a place that champions stability and growth. I also share personal experience with this work, my research, and the progress I see in executives.
